Yesterday's Journal Sentinel ran an awesome article on Lowell Elementary School in Waukesha. That's AJ's future school! I am certain that this article will bring more awareness of the choices associated with deafness and bring awareness to cochlear implants.

Please be sure to view the photo gallery. Deb Schrader will be AJ's teacher. I know I've said it before, but I've never seen anyone so organized and know all her kids. I mean KNOW her kids...even when they've gone on from her classroom, she still remembers and knows their past and present goals. We met many of the children pictured when we toured Lowell earlier in the year. In fact, one of the boy's in the photos blew us away with his language.

I am printing copies of this article for AJ's Packet for the IEP meeting. Lowell IS the school for our little man.
